INHABIT: THE BOOK.
Inhabit: The Book is a documentation of a part-residency, part-performance, part-exhibition called Inhabit, the latest project from Bristol-based artist, Beth Kirby.
Taking place at 17 Midland Road, Bristol over one week, the artist inhabited the gallery space as a studio and workplace, continually filling the surfaces of the gallery. A roster of professional life models and volunteer members of the public will join the artist in the space throughout the week, were drawn from life, and the resulting work was exhibited at the end of the week.
During the course of the week, Beth drew 30 people and produced over 100 pieces of work. This intense project was documented throughout the week in words and images, which is now released as a book, including a reflecting essay on the project.
