Between The Lines Exhibition, 2022.

Artists RTiiika, Zoe Power, Penfold (Tim Gresham), MernyWernz, Billy and me, Beth Kirby decided to get together to create an exhibition, with talks beginning in 2021.

The exhibition was held at Centrespace Gallery in Bristol, one of the only large gallery spaces in Bristol. Tucked away down a graffiti-covered alley, Centrespace is connected to a co-op of artists studios.

The exhibition opening night had an incredible turn out, despite it being held on a stormy February 11th, 2022. The show, consisting of works on paper, canvas and fabric from all artists, ran for a week with a roster of events and workshops in the evenings, as part of a community connection piece.

I exhibited a large scale drawing on board, entitled Big Gal, along with a series of small drawings. These works discuss femininity, the ritual of ‘getting ready’ but also incorporate a feeling of detachment or unease.
