1xRUN Screen Print Release, 2022.

Based on the success of my original collection with 1xRUN, we collaborated on a screen print in early 2022.

1xRUN wanted to create a collection of female-lead work, featuring global artists with a variety of different styles who all identify as female.

For this project I wanted to create a piece which discussed the representation of women in the art world. Continuing the emblematic theme of lips, something I think is often construed as a feminine image, I settled on the phrase ‘good for a girl’ - a phrase I’ve heard numerous times, which somehow suggests gender is a caveat for talent…which is obviously bullshit.

The end result was a main edition and a split fountain special edition, both featuring spot gloss varnish and hand-deckled edges.
