These Are My Delicious Sandwiches, Joanna Bennett.

Poet Joanna Bennett commissioned me to create a bespoke hand-drawn book cover for her latest collection of work, These Are My Delicious Sandwiches.

The collection of poetry discusses themes of motherhood, womanhood, lockdown during a pandemic and the balance of life and death. Inspired by these themes, and the title poem, I created some gentle yet powerful pencil drawings in a comic strip style.

The cover also includes vintage Letraset type, and designed digitally by myself too.
